In the intercessory prayer, Jesus invited us to have a relationship with Him and the Father similar to the relationship He had with the Father. He prayed that we all might be one. I then thought of our hands when we pray, and how many clasp two hands together, two becoming one. The hands were a very symbol of the kind of relationship God wants to have with us.
