I was holding on so tightly, but I had to let go. These hands are a symbol. They point upward but are also turned outward. As I gave all my grief and anxiety over to God, He taught me that I would only find healing as I looked to Him daily and as I sought to serve others. For it is only through God’s grace, made possible through the atonement of His Son, Jesus Christ, that we are able to let go and find peace. And it is only by keeping our hands facing outward that we are able to find joy again through service.
