Have we remembered our story? Do we remember that our country was begun by people who had a strong faith in God and a determination to ensure freedom for His children on earth? Do we remember their courage, tenacity, grit? Do we remember the freedoms we enjoy are a product of their fortitude? Is the book of American history being handed down from generation to generation? Each succeeding people holds a responsibility to preserve that which was so painfully fought for before, and each also adds a piece to the story. So what will we write in our chapter? What is the legacy that we will add to the beautiful portrait of this country?
